Accessible Voting Rights
Missouri law provides several options to help voters with disabilities cast their ballot.
Curbside voting allows voters with limited mobility to vote outside their polling place. Ask someone to notify election workers, and they will bring a ballot to you within a reasonable time.
If your assigned polling place is not accessible, you may request a different polling location or vote at a central accessible location. Contact your local election authority or call (800) NOW-VOTE for assistance.
Every polling place must also provide an accessible voting system. These systems include features such as audio ballots and enlarged text to support voters with different accessibility needs.
Voters with a permanent physical disability may request to join Missouri's permanent absentee voting program. Once approved, your local election authority will automatically mail you an absentee ballot application before each election.
