Morning at the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House

Join Easterseals Midwest for a special sensory-friendly morning at the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House, presented by Southern Bank. Families will have the chance to explore one of the St. Louis area's most unique attractions in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Walk through the Tropical Conservatory and see hundreds of free-flying butterflies up close. Visit the Lopata Learning Lab for hands-on activities, and discover the native butterfly garden and its local insect residents. Guests will enjoy exclusive access to the Butterfly House, with activities and spaces designed with people with disabilities and sensory-processing needs in mind.

Our sensory-friendly family events help people of all ages and abilities enjoy community experiences with greater comfort and confidence. Trained Easterseals Midwest staff will be on-site throughout the event to support families and answer questions.

To help create the best experience for everyone, attendance is limited.

Admission is $1 per person. Children 2 and under attend free.
