350+ individuals at Easterseals rely on SNAP benefits

Due to the federal government shut down, millions of American lost SNAP benefits for half of November. While the impact of this loss is felt across the nation, people with disabilities are affected even deeper. 

Even with the partial funding, the individuals we support have been left with just $3 a day for food. Many have complex dietary requirements that food banks struggle to accommodate.
