School Training, Assessment, and Consultation
These programs are available by request from school districts through a private-pay contract agreement. These include flexible agreements where services can be provided as requested by the district by one of our BCBAs.
Advanced Autism and Behavioral Trainings
This program includes a range of workshops, such as understanding functions of behavior, developing behavior intervention plans, teaching and encouraging communication and social skills, and using visuals in the classroom. Additional workshops are available upon request.
Functional Behavior Assessments
This package includes a half-day observation, an analysis of collected behavior data, a full report with recommendations to include in a behavior plan, and a follow-up meeting to discuss the information covered.
Classroom and Student Consultation
This program includes a consultation for the school building, classroom, or a specific student. Consultations typically include giving teachers recommendations to implement for supporting students’ education and to reduce problematic behavior. Consultations may also include the development of forms, processes, and materials.
Understanding Coverage for Services
Easterseals Midwest accepts Medicaid (MO HealthNet), select commercial insurance plans, and private pay.
Children do not need to have an autism diagnosis before starting ABA therapy, however most commercial insurance companies and Medicaid require it to provide coverage. If your child does not yet have a diagnosis, we can still help.
