- Highly individualized programming for each individual with high levels of oversight by a BCBA
- Collaboration with other service providers and schools as needed
- Heavy focus on natural environment training

Understanding Coverage for Services
Easterseals Midwest accepts Medicaid (MO HealthNet), select commercial insurance plans, and private pay.
Children do not need to have an autism diagnosis before starting ABA therapy, however most commercial insurance companies and Medicaid require it to provide coverage. If your child does not yet have a diagnosis, we can still help.
School Training, Assessment, and Consultation
These programs are available by request from school districts, the Department of Mental Health (DMH), and private services through a private-pay contract agreement. These include flexible agreements where services can be provided as requested and provided by one of our BCBAs.
Advanced Autism and Behavioral Trainings
This program includes a range of workshops, such as understanding functions of behavior and applicable replacement behavior(s), developing behavior intervention plans, teaching and encouraging communication and social skills, toilet training, encouraging proper sleep habits, addressing eating challenges, the use of visual supports, and other topics of interest.
Functional Behavior Assessments
This package includes one to two direct observations, multiple caregiver interviews, an analysis of collected behavior data, and a review of other applicable reports. Recipients will receive a full report with recommendations to include in a global behavior plan, and a follow-up meeting to discuss the information covered. Global behavior plans can then be used to develop more specific individualized behavior support plans.
Classroom and Student Consultation
This program includes a consultation for the school building, classroom, or a specific student. Consultations typically include giving teachers recommendations to implement to support students’ educational goals and to reduce problematic behavior. Consultations may also include the development of forms, processes, and materials.
